Choosing a well-fitted suit is essential for looking sharp and professional. Here are a few tips to help you understand the key elements of a perfectly fitted suit:
Shoulders

The shoulder seam of the jacket should align with the edge of your shoulder. Too tight, and the fabric will pull; too loose, and the jacket will appear baggy

Chest and Waist Fit

A suit should contour your torso without feeling restrictive. You should be able to button the jacket comfortably without pulling on the fabric. If the jacket feels too tight around the chest, it’s likely too small

The jacket should cover your seat without extending too far past your waist. When your arms are relaxed, the hem of the jacket should fall around your knuckles

Jacket Length
Sleeve Length

Sleeves should end just at the wrist bone, leaving about half an inch of your shirt cuff exposed. This creates a clean and proportional look

Pants Length

Pants should have a slight break over the shoes. Too much fabric pooling around the ankles suggests they are too long, while pants that barely touch the shoes might be too short
